X CANFIELD — Kathleen Miklas and Joseph Corvino were married at 2 p.m. June 21 during a ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Paul Toelke at Lord of Life Lutheran Church.

A reception followed at The Legends of Fonderlac in New Springfield to honor the daughter of Martin and Janet Miklas, 7070 Fairview Road, Austintown, and the son of Susan Corvino of Boardman and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Corvino of Columbiana.

After returning from a honeymoon in Las Vegas and Hawaii, the couple live in Boardman.

Embellished with pearls, rhinestones and bugle beads, the bride’s white satin gown featured spaghetti straps, a V-neckline, keyhole back and pleated trumpet-style skirt that flowed into a chapel train.

Wearing lilac gowns were the honor attendant, Diana Hibbs, and the bridesmaids, Kaitlin Kempe, Crystal Carcell, Ashley Schroll and the groom’s sister, Jennifer House. Courtney Mercer was flower girl.

Best man was the groom’s brother, Brian Corvino, and groomsmen were Jonathon Corvino, his brother; Eric Zajac; Chip Miklas, the bride’s brother; and Scott Nastase. The bride’s cousin, John Catapano, was ring bearer.

Mrs. Corvino, a teacher in Youngstown. graduated from Mount Union College with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. Mr. Corvino, who attended YSU, is employed in purchasing with PHD Manufacturing Inc. in Columbiana.
