Miss Thomashow Mr. Solondz plan summer wedding

X PORTLAND, Ore. — Kimberly Ellen Thomashow and David Keller Solondz, both of 736 S.E. 33rd Ave., are engaged and are planning a late-summer wedding.

Susan and Richard Thomashow, 901 Royal Arms Drive, Girard, are parents of the bride-elect, and Jacqueline and Daniel Solondz of Mountainside, N.J., are parents of the future groom.

The couple have chosen Aug. 31 as the date for their 4:30 p.m. wedding at Shemanski Plaza. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for a reception at the Hilton Hotel.

The bride-to-be graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a bachelor’s degree and earned a master’s in occupational therapy at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. She is an occupational therapist with Oregon Health and Science University.

The prospective groom graduated from Tufts University in Medford, Mass., with a bachelor’s degree and from Tufts University Medical School in Boston with his medical degree. He is a family physician with the Oregon Health and Science University.
