X BOARDMAN — Eric Adam Bayless and his bride, the former Vanessa Dawn Affagato, were honored during a reception at The Elm Tree in Struthers after their 1:30 p.m. May 31 wedding at the gazebo in Boardman Township Park.

The Rev. Cindy Cirelli officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Debbie and Dave Affagato, 909 S. Main St., Bessemer, Pa., and the son of Virginia and Gary Bayless, 3378 Hillsville Road, Edinburg, Pa.

After a honeymoon in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Georgia, the couple live at 1032 S. Cascade St., New Castle, Pa.

The bride’s strapless ivory organza gown was adorned with beaded lace, and an embroidered tulle inlay accented the split side of the skirt, which flowed into a cathedral train.

A Victorian lilac gown was worn by the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Heather Gardner, and orchid gowns were worn by the bridesmaids, Ashley and Nicole Allen, the bride’s cousins; Shannon Angelo; Carrie Klik; and Leanne Marino.

Jim Marino served as best man, and ushers were Neal Bayless, the groom’s brother; Matt Angelo; Shawn Klik; Ed Barefield; and Rick Carna. Also participating was Jimmy Marino.

The bride, an administrative assistant with the Lawrence County Commissioners in New Castle, graduated from Erie Business Center South.

The groom is a graduate of Youngstown State University and is an auditor with DataScan Technologies of Atlanta.
