Scrappers win third straight

LOWELL, Mass. — The Mahoning Valley Scrappers scored all their runs in the second inning and held on to defeat the Lowell Spinners, 6-4, in a New York-Penn League game Wednesday night.

The Scrappers’ win was their third straight, which is a season high.
