X CAPTIVA, Fla. — The wedding of Sarah Elizabeth Rhodes and Dr. Attila Ondi, both of 4565 Lake Waterford Way, Melbourne, Fla., at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 23 at Chapel by the Sea was followed by a reception at the Sanctuary Golf Club in Sanibel, Fla.
The Rev. Joyce Kelly officiated for the daughter of Dr. David and Linda Rhodes, 2727 Arabian Lane, Hubbard, and the son of Tibor Ondi and Julianna Ondin T ≥th of Szolnok, Hungary.
The bride, who will use the surname Rhodes-Ondi, earned a bachelor’s degree in marine biology from New College of Florida and her master’s in marine biology from Florida Institute of Technology. She is a naturalist with Environmental Learning Center in Vero Beach, Fla.
The groom earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in computer science from Lor °nd E ∂tv ∂s University in Budapest, Hungary. He is a postdoctoral researcher at FIT, where he received a doctorate of philosophy in computer science.
The bride wore her mother’s wedding gown. It was enhanced with Venise lace and featured an open neckline and bishop sleeves.
Sky-blue gowns were worn by honor attendant Livia Ondi, the groom’s sister, and the bridesmaids, Tauhida Parveen, Alejandra Restrepo-Correa, Saran McMahon, Dunia Urrego and Sarah Milligan.
Best man was the bride’s brother, David Rhodes Jr., and the groomsmen were Raifque Sadekin, Manan Pancholi, James Lewicki and Lajos Nagy.
