Eating sustainably and Making do

Eating sustainably and Making do

Eat sustainably. By growing some of your own food and buying locally grown produce, you eliminate the need to use fossil fuels to transport vegetables from a faraway field to your plate.

Grow fresh herbs. Use the kitchen windowsill as an herb garden. By growing your own herbs, not only are you getting the freshest quality possible, you also avoid the plastic packaging.

Work with what you already have. To have a “green” kitchen, there’s no need to buy all-new appliances. The greenest approach is to work with what you already own for as long as possible.
