Community street festival set Saturday in downtown Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN — Music, poetry, crafts and theatrical performances is only some of the entertainment expected at this year’s Pig Iron Community Street Festival.

After taking a year off, the festival, sponsored by the Pig Iron Literary and Art Works, is back and will run 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday on North Phelps Street between Commerce and Federal streets.

This year, 24 arts and crafts exhibits and 11 stage acts, including music, theater and poetry will participate in the festivities.
