Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following activities: Monday, Men’s and Women’s Needlecraft Club at 10 a.m., Cancer Support Group from 10 to 11 and bridge at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, oil painting at 10 a.m., computer class at 10 and noon, and digital club at 2 p.m.; Wednesday, watercolor class at 10 a.m., tai chi at noon and 500 cards at 1 p.m.; Thursday, woodcarvers and Watch Our Weight Club at 9 a.m., exercise at noon and line dancing at 1 p.m.; and Friday, Texas Hold’em. Special events are as follows: Dining with Diabetes classes on Monday, July 21 and 28; New Middletown Fun Day picnic from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday; Lake Milton Fun Day picnic from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the park Wednesday; Boardman luau at Masters Pavilion from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday; and Sebring picnic in the park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Home Energy Assistance Program applications are available at the center. The center has applications for the SBC telephone discount program of $12.38 per month for eligible applicants.
