ON Angels’ Wing charity bike run postponed till Sept. 7

EAST PALESTINE -- The Charity Bike Run to benefit On Angels’ Wings that was scheduled for today was postponed because of inclement weather.

The event, sponsored by the Youngstown Hog Group and Harley Davidson Bike Town, was moved to Sept. 7. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. at Harley Davidson Bike Town, 5700 Interstate Blvd., Austintown, with the first bike out at noon. The run will end at On Angels’ Wings, 710 state Route 170 East Palestine. Registration is $15 per bike and $15 a passenger.

On Angels’ Wings is a non-profit therapeutic horseback riding organization that operates exclusively on donations. The organization provides support to individuals with disabilities with volunteers working with disabled children and adults by using horses for therapeutic riding.
