Pavlik's manager uncertain about Williams bout

Kelly Pavlik ultimately may fight Paul Williams in September but it’s nowhere close to a done deal, his manager, Cameron Dunkin, said Saturday.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen,” Dunkin said. “I have to talk to the Pavliks and get their approval. We may just sit it out and wait until the end of the year.”

Pavlik's promoter, Bob Arum, said Friday that the bout is "very likely" to happen. If so, it would take place on Sept. 27 in Atlantic City and be televised by HBO.
