X YOUNGSTOWN — Janine Nicole Bartholomew, a daughter of Gary and Beverly Bartholomew of Cortland, formerly of Hubbard, and David McAllister Bradley, a son of Mark and Mary Bradley of Rochester, Minn., were united in marriage June 7 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park by the Rev. David Garlich.

After a reception at Sharon Country Club in Pennsylvania, the couple left for the Hawaiian islands of Kauai and Maui.

The bride wore a diamond-white mermaid-style gown of silk taffeta embellished with ruching.

Pink gowns were worn by the bride’s sisters and honor attendants, Amanda Bartholomew of Pittsburgh and Megan Bartholomew of Cortland, and the bridesmaids, Ashley Carlson of North Carolina, Alyssa Carlson of Findlay and Danielle Styer of Cortland.

Best man was Allan Taylor of New York City, and groomsmen were Casey Jacobson of Washington, Stephen Lu of Pennsylvania, Dominic Mastropietro of Hubbard and Aaron Morris of Pittsburgh. Benjamin Garlich of Warren was the ring bearer.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in biology at Cedarville University and is a doctoral candidate in molecular pharmacology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

The groom graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from Princeton University and is pursuing his doctorate at the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University.
