X LAKELAND, Fla. — The marriage of Dena Marie Pagano, 5254 Nichols Drive West, and Matthew James Bishop, 503 Setter Lane, was solemnized by the Rev. Nicholas O'Brien at 1:30 p.m. March 29 at St. Anthony Church.

The daughter of Joseph and Linda Pagano, 14 Mohawk Drive, Girard, and the son of James and Patricia Bishop, 5850 Swallow Drive, were honored afterward during a reception at Huntington Hills Golf and Country Club.

They spent their honeymoon on a Mediterranean cruise and live at the Setter Lane address.

The bride’s off-white gown was embellished with beading and had a dark sage-green sash at the waistline. The bodice featured wide shoulder straps, and the skirt flowed into a sweep train.

Peridot gowns were worn by the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Julie Pietsch, and the bridesmaids, Lisa Bishop, a sister of the groom, and Kianna Collier. Flower girl was Brianna Serafin.

Brian Serafin was best man, and groomsmen were Joseph Pagano, the bride’s brother, and Rich Serafin. Ring bearer was Ryan Serafin, and ushers were Bill Bishop, the groom’s uncle; and Brian Pietsch, the bride’s brother-in-law.

An occupational therapist with Achievement Academy, the bride graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in occupational therapy.

The groom graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa with a bachelor’s degree and is a project manager with Publix Supermarkets.
