NEW YORK — The All-Stars of music are coming to Yankee Stadium, too.

Nine-time Grammy winner Sheryl Crow will sing the national anthem before baseball’s All-Star game Tuesday night, and classical pop star Josh Groban will sing “God Bless America” during the seventh-inning stretch.

On Monday night, rock band 3 Doors Down will perform two songs before the home run derby.

Also, as part of All-Star weekend, Major League Baseball is sponsoring a concert in Central Park featuring Bon Jovi on Saturday.

Brinkley, Cook settle case

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. — Christie Brinkley’s lurid divorce trial came to an abrupt end yesterday when lawyers for the former supermodel and her fourth husband reached an out-of-court settlement that gives her custody of their two children.

Brinkley will give her estranged husband, architect Peter Cook, $2.1 million but will keep 18 properties in the Hamptons. Cook also will get time with the children.

“It’s to me a very bittersweet moment because it really is the death of a marriage,” Brinkley, 54, said after the settlement was announced in court. “I’m very pleased with the results today. I was here fighting for custody.” She held an elaborate dinosaur diorama she had helped her son make for a science class; it was used as evidence at the trial.

Kid Rock’s new hit single climbs the charts

The inescapable Kid Rock demonstrates what a hit single can still do. As Rock’s song “All Summer Long” climbs the Top 40, adult contemporary and country singles charts simultaneously, his album “Rock N Roll Jesus” has jumped from No. 12 to No. 7. Sales spiked 27 percent, to 45,000 last week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Meanwhile, Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter III”moved back into the No. 1 slot even though sales dropped 25 percent, thanks to an even greater slip for Coldplay’s latest. Sales of “Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends” dipped 40 percent during its third week of release, to 149,000 just shy of the 156,000 copies Wayne sold.
