Samia Rafeedie, Ramez Ethnasios plan fall wedding

X YOUNGSTOWN — Salwa and Husam Rafeedie of Youngstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Samia Husam Rafeedie of Columbia, Md., and Ramez Adly Ethnasios, son of Samia Ethnasios, both of Panorama City, Calif., and the late Adly Ethnasios.

The couple have made plans for a fall wedding at St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church in Seven Hills, which will be by invitation only. A reception for invited guests will take place at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex in Liberty.

The bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy at Ohio State University and master’s and doctoral degrees in occupational therapy at the University of Southern California at Los Angeles. She is employed by USC in the Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy as an assistant professor of occupational science and occupational therapy.

The prospective groom earned a bachelor’s degree in biology at University of California at Los Angeles and a doctor of medicine degree at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pa. He is employed as a first-year resident in internal medicine at Olive View UCLA Medical Center in San Fernando Valley, Calif.
