Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following activities: Monday, Men’s and Women’s Needlecraft Club at 10 a.m. and bridge at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, oil painting and Alzheimer Support Group at 10 a.m., computer class at 10 and noon, digital club at 2 p.m. and Caregiver Support Program from 2 to 3; Wednesday, watercolor class at 10 a.m., tai chi at noon and 500 cards at 1 p.m.; Thursday, woodcarvers and Watch Our Weight Club at 9 a.m., Diabetic Workshop at 10 with Kay Leonhart of St. Elizabeth Health Center, exercise at noon and line dancing at 1 p.m.; and Friday, Texas Hold’em. A special event for Tuesday is an artists’ bus trip. Home Energy Assistance Program applications are available at the center. The center has applications for the SBC telephone discount program of $12.38 per month for eligible applicants. Call the center (330) 744-5071 for information.
