October wedding for Miss Franken and Mr. Phillips

X The engagement of Melissa Ann Franken of Salem and Andrew C. Phillips of East Palestine is being announced by her parents, Rudy and Cathy Franken of Austintown and David and Doralie Lautzenheiser of Salem.

The future groom is a son of Chuck and Ann Phillips of East Palestine.

The couple have chosen Oct. 11 as the date for their 2:30 p.m. wedding in Greenford Christian Church. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for a reception that evening at Shangri La in Canfield.

The bride-to-be graduated from Choffin School of Practical Nursing in Youngstown and is a licensed practical nurse at Salem Community Hospital.

Her fianc is a customer engineer with NCR in Austintown. He graduated from ITT Technical Institute in Youngstown with a degree in computer electronic engineering technology.
