Baughmans mark 50th anniversary with vow renewal

X BOARDMAN — Ronald and Carmel Baughman, of Southwestern Place, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends at a party given in their honor on June 8 at Johnny’s Restaurant on Market Street.

The event was hosted by Gary and Lisa Baughman, David Baughman and Tony McGary.

The couple also renewed their wedding vows at a Mass of celebration officiated by Bishop George V. Murry at St. Columba Cathedral.

The former Carmel Canacci and Ronald Baughman were married June 28, 1958, at Immaculate Conception Church in Youngstown.

In addition to their two sons, Gary and David, the couple have two granddaughters, Victoria and Erin Baughman.

Mrs. Baughman retired in 1998 from the office of Brentwood Originals in Youngstown, and Mr. Baughman retired in 1995 from General Motors Corp.
