Lists of vacation Bible schools open to the public will run on the Religion page. Please include the following information: the complete name of the church; address with city or township; time, date and location of sessions; program theme; ages or grades; and whether it’s free or there is a fee. Information should be submitted two weeks before the school’s opening or its reservation deadline. WHO: First Federated Church.

WHAT: “God’s Big Backyard” program for 4- to 12-year-olds. Activities will be games, crafts, music, Bible stories and snacks.

WHEN: 8:30 a.m. to noon July 21-25.

WHO: First Presbyterian Church of Mineral Ridge.

WHAT: “Rainforest Adventure” for children from 4 years old through sixth grade. Activities will focus on Bible stories that emphasize stewardship and caring for God’s creations. There will be crafts, games and snacks. The mission project is Living Waters for the World, a ministry that addresses the necessity for clean water. An offering will be taken daily for this cause.

WHAT: “Son Harvest” theme for children from 3 years old through 12th grade. Activities will include Bible lessons, crafts, music and snacks. On the last day, children will visit the “Son Harvest” county store.
