Gesaman-Sharif engagement is being announced

X Announced by Maj. Ronald and D.J. Peppel Gesaman of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Youngstown, is the engagement of their daughter, Stacey Gesaman, 424 Shallowford Circle, Augusta, Ga., and E.J. Sharif also of Augusta, a son of Dr. Jonaid and Amina Sharif of Augusta.

The bride-elect graduated from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga., with a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting. She is a multimedia producer with Morris Communications in Augusta.

The prospective groom is a teacher and therapist with Richmond County Board of Education in Augusta. He graduated from Augusta State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s in special education.

The couple will be married at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at Savannah Rapids Pavilion in Augusta. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for the reception later that day at Savannah Rapids Ballroom.
