BRANDI GOETTSCH MATTHEW PAVONE
X CANFIELD — Brandi Goettsch and Matthew Pavone were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. May 24 at Old North Church by the Rev. Tom Fennell.
After a reception at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre in Liberty, the couple left for a honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico.
They live at 6431 St. Andrews Drive.
The bride is a daughter of Patricia Goettsch, 1145 Trails Edge Drive, Hubbard, and the late Dr. James S. Goettsch, and the groom is a son of Terrence Pavone, 470 Chatsworth Lane.
The bride’s strapless taffeta gown was embellished with crystals and lace and featured a sweetheart neckline, pickups on the skirt and a cathedral train.
Tiffany-blue gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Amanda Ronyak, and the bridesmaids, Taffy Pavone, Renee Whippo, Jennifer Prout, Heather McIntyre, Courtney Schuller, Carmen Morrone and Holly Nguyen. Flower girls were Megan Leonard, Abigail Goettsch and Madelyn Schiffman.
Jason Pavone was best man, and groomsmen were Don Brunker, Bob Harvey, Mike Kivlighan, Ralph Morrone, Ken McIntyre, Dan Swanson and Matt Kesic. Ring bearer was Collin Leonard, and ushers were Ryan and David Goettsch.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University and is a support teacher with Mahoning County Education Service Center. The groom, a store manager with Radio Shack in Austintown, is attending YSU.
