Scrappers fall 10-1 at Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Daniel Brewer and Mitch Abeita had two hits and three RBIs apiece, leading the Staten Island Yankees to a 10-1 victory over the Mahoning Valley Scrappers in a New York-Penn League game Thursday night.

The loss was the second straight and sixth in the last eight games for the Scrappers (7-10), who wrap up the three-game series tonight at 7:05 p.m.
