Education camp open to special-needs children

BOARDMAN — Miracles Unlimited Inc. will host its fifth conductive education summer camp for children with special needs at Southwoods Executive Building, Market Street.

Scheduled for six weeks, from June 16 to July 25, the camp will feature two sessions daily, from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The purpose of the camp is to help children with physical challenges in the Mahoning and Shenango valleys to discover their potential and abilities in a fun and motivational group setting. A physical therapist will be on the staff to assist with the learning process.

Through the camp, the nonprofit group will provide infants, preschoolers and school-aged children an opportunity to learn the basic skills of daily living.
