HUBBARD
June 27
Criminal mischief: The caretaker of a park near Jones Street told officers someone wrote on several tables.
Criminal mischief: An Elmwood Drive woman reported seeing a juvenile use a baseball bat to hit several stones, one of which struck a neighbor’s residence.
June 28
Criminal mischief: Officers got a report that three juveniles removed a stop sign near Hazel and South Main streets.

Criminal damaging: A Johnny K Boulevard man told police his former wife ransacked his residence.
Breaking and entering: A man arrived at his parents’ Dogwood Drive home and found it in disarray, apparently after someone broke in.
Theft: A worker for Nemenz IGA Super Center, 880 W. Liberty St., reported detaining three female shoplifters.
LIBERTY
June 27
Recovered property: A worker with a Belmont Avenue motel turned over to authorities a box of ammunition as well as parts for a revolver that had been left in a room.
Burglary/damage: A Tuttle Drive man reported someone entered his trailer via a rear door, though nothing appeared to have been taken. Nevertheless, several items, including some Xbox 360 games, were damaged.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 3000 block of Frederick Street reported a possible break-in after finding a screen that had been cut.
Theft: The rear validation sticker was stolen off a vehicle in the 1300 block of Church Hill-Hubbard Road.
Domestic violence: Police took a 47-year-old Youngstown man into custody in a wooded area and charged him with domestic violence and obstructing official business after the man’s girlfriend alleged he became angry, tossed a phone at the accuser, shoved her and threatened to kill her. The man initially failed to obey officers’ commands, the report showed.

Theft: A man stole five packs of cigarettes from Rite Aid Pharmacy, 2704 Belmont Ave.
Theft: A Youngstown woman’s license plate was missing from her car on Country Club Drive.
June 29
Arrest: Officers responded to a possible fight in the 3000 block of Hadley Avenue before arresting a 24-year-old Youngstown man wanted on a warrant charging him with a probation violation.
Theft: A woman in the 1100 block of Church Hill-Hubbard Road reported her daughter’s Nintendo game and six game cartridges were missing from the girl’s bedroom. The theft came to $1,460.
Trespassing: While responding to a fight in the 20 block of Tuttle Drive, police issued a summons to a Girard man, 38, on a criminal-trespassing charge. Earlier, the man had been ordered to stay off the property, the report said.
Drug paraphernalia: Police received a 911 call about someone driving recklessly near Church Hill Road and arrested a 23-year-old Niles man on charges of possession of drug-abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia. The man admitted being a heroin addict and had several syringes as well as a bent metal spoon, officers said.
June 30
Drugs: A Girard woman, 32, was given a summons on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug-abuse instruments after being pulled over on state Route 193. Four pills in a bag and a syringe were found, police said.
July 1
Breaking and entering: An employee with KFC, 3309 Belmont Ave., arrived to find an entry door window had been smashed with a large rock. Nothing appeared to be missing.
Breaking and entering: A worker for a Motor Inn Drive motel discovered someone broke into a storage room and took six inoperable air-conditioning units, apparently for their scrap value. The loss was estimated at $600.

June 29
Theft: A woman in the 300 block of Hazel Street saw that a $250 global positioning system device and an MP3 player had been removed from her car.
Criminal mischief: A Youngstown man, 19, was charged after officers got a complaint about someone in a sport-utility vehicle damaging a section of a nearby park. The man drove at high speed, spun his tires and damaged a grassy area, police were told.
Theft: Two people in the 500 block of Powers Avenue reported the faceplates to their car stereos were stolen.
Aggravated menacing: A Newton Falls man delivering newspapers in the 200 block of West Prospect Street reported a nearby resident threatened to beat up and kill the accuser, then take his truck.
Theft by deception: An employee at a Sunoco gas station, 307 S. State St., told police a man in his 20s pumped $48 worth of gasoline and tried to pay with a gift card that was declined before fleeing.
Breaking and entering: A woman in the 100 block of Church Hill Road discovered a broken rear window after someone entered her garage and took a chain saw and a toolbox with various tools.
June 30
Theft: A Smithsonian Drive man reported the theft of his 20-inch bicycle.
Theft/criminal damaging: A Girard man reported his car was broken into and its dashboard damaged in the 400 block of Joan Avenue. A compact-disc player, two amplifiers and a subwoofer were taken, for a loss of $1,350.
Domestic violence: A 14-year-old Barberton girl was charged after her stepmother, of Girard, alleged the teen pushed her off a couch, struck the woman, bit her on the right shoulder and tossed water on the accuser during an argument.
Recovered property: Police ran the license plate of a 1997 Ford F-150 truck in the 900 block of Patricia Avenue and learned it had been stolen from a Warren man.
Assault: A 14-year-old Youngstown boy in the 100 block of East Second Street said a 25-year-old Girard man punched the teen in the mouth. A witness, however, told police the boy tried to hit the man first.
Criminal damaging: A Girard boy, 16, was charged after authorities received a report of someone throwing objects at a vehicle in the 100 block of Church Hill Road. The teen dropped objects from a second-floor window and hit a car, the report said.
July 1
Theft: A woman in the 200 block of Prospect Street reported a lawn mower stolen from her porch.
