YMCA Tour de Spin event begins Thursday

YOUNGSTOWN — The 2008 Tour de Spin begins Thursday and will run until July 27. The kick-off spin will be from 7-9 p.m. at the Youngstown Central YMCA on North Champion Street.

Participants are required to sign a pledge card and commit three days each week to ride. Once registered, riders are randomly selected to teams, which represent actual Tour de France teams.

There were more than 100 participants in last year’s kick-off spin.
