The band was founded in 1946 and since then has:

Performed in all 50 states.

Made appearances in more than 30 countries on four continents.

Played at the World War II 50th anniversary commemorations, presidential inaugurations and the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.

Entertained more than 100 million people worldwide.
