FOOD SALES AND DINNERS | Sit-down and takeout events planned

THURSDAY

• Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman Poland Road, will have takeout dinners available from 4 to 6 p.m., or until they are sold out. The cost is $6. There is no need to preorder or get out of the car. Just drive to the front of the church and your meal of baked stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and green beans will be ready.

SUNDAY

• Auxiliary of VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, is serving home-style breakfasts from 8 a.m. to noon. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 10. The menu includes eggs, hash browns, sausage or ham, pancakes or freedom toast, toast and coffee or tea. A la carte items also will be available.

• Leavittsburg Church of God L.I.F.T. Team (Living in Faith Together) will host a spaghetti dinner from 1-3 p.m. at the church, 610 S. Leavitt Road. Tickets cost $6 for adults and $3 for children. L.I.F.T. is a youth drama and music group that is raising money to go to a national talent competition.

• VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, is sponsoring a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. July 10. The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children under 10 and $6.25 for takeout. The menu includes meatballs, salad, Italian bread and coffee or tea.
