Road work affects open house events

PETERSBURG — Due to road construction in the Petersburg area, the Springfield Township Historical Society has canceled its open house events scheduled for July 6, Aug. 3 and Sept. 7 at the museum.

The open house scheduled for 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 5 at the society’s meeting house and museum on Youngstown Pittsburgh Road will take place as planned.

The museum will be open for all scheduled group tours this summer and from 7:30 to 9 p.m. July 8 and Sept. 9 for meetings.
