BASEBALL BABE RUTH (14-15s)

Astro Falcons 12, Mahoning Valley Panthers 5 — Mike Thorpe pitched a complete game, allowing eight hits and striking out six. He also had three hits, including a double. Mike Briach had a triple and single and three RBIs for Astro. Rick Yauger had three hits, including a triple, for the Panthers.

Joe Koch/Line Drive 9, Rizer Group Insurance 6 — Mark Leone drove in Dave DiBernardi with the go-ahead run in the fifth inning. Adam Robb lead Koch with three hits, including a double, and two RBIs. Carmen Tarantino had two doubles and three RBIs. Reliever Pete Garthwaite pitched six shutout innings.

Youngstown RBI 6, Wharmby Sports 5 — Mike Bleggi scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh after walking. Alec Neapolitan was the winning pitcher in relief, with three innings. Jon Taylor hit an RBI triple, while Josh Midgley doubled. PJ Stickle was 2-for-3 for Wharmby with a double.

Youngstown RBI 11, Astro Falcons 3 — Midgley allowed three hits over five innings for RBI. Neapolitan and Jake Daughtery both had two hits, including one double each. Neapolitan also had four RBIs. Jared Bettura had a triple with three RBIs. John Zvara had two hits for Astro.

Astro Falcons 16, Rizer Group Insurance 2 — Tim Audia and Tyler Serich each had three hits for Astro. Mike Briach added a pair of doubles.

Joe Koch/Line Drive 11, Rondinelli 4 — Koch was lead by Mike Lopuchovsky with four hits and two RBIs, Adam Robb with two hits and two RBIs, Mark Leone with two hits and two runs, and Mark Calautti with three RBIs. Dane Gecina and Alex Miklos each had two hits, including a double, for Rondinelli.

Wharmby Sports 11, Sluggers 1 — Mike Werner went 3-for-4 with a double, while Tyler Gargano and Garrett Blaschak each had two hits. Andre Jones was the winning pitcher. Dan O’Brien went 2-for-3 with a double and Matt Kimmel added a double for Sluggers.

Rondinelli 13 Triple Play 3 — Tyler Wiery, Brandon Harb and Connor Hoelzel each had two hits for Rondinelli.

Astro Falcons 8 Mahoning Valley Panthers 4 — Jacob Froats had a triple and a double and scored twice to lead Astro. Anthony Rohan and Nick Andrews each drove in two runs.

Triple Play Extreme 7, Wharmby Sports 1 — Rob Montanari and Ryan Brumbaugh combined on the pitching for Triple Play. Jeremy Jansco and Luke Patten both had two hits for Wharmby.

Rondinelli 12, D&G 7 — Tyler Wiery had three hits, including two doubles, for Rondinelli. Dan Ferguson added a triple and Brandon Harb a double.

Triple Play Extreme 15, Wharmby Sports 4 — Joe Salmen pitched a three-hitter for Triple Play.

Astro Falcons 11, D&G 9 — Troy Parks went 3-for-3 and scored twice to lead Astro. Chris Maze, Ryan Strollo and Vic Kuchmaner also scored twice. Andrew Parize and Scott Coyne both scored twice for D&G.
