Huntington Bank making branch changes
Huntington Bank has confirmed plans to change its presence in the area.
The branches at 829 Sharon-New Castle Road, Farrell, Pa., and 6749 Tod Ave. S.W,, Lordstown are scheduled to close at the end of August, laying off four employees in Lordstown and two in Farrell.
Huntington spokeswoman Jeri Grier said the employees will have an opportunity to apply for other jobs within the company.
A new branch will be built at 1732 S. Raccoon Road in Austintown — at the former site of Lucianno’s Cafe Banquet Center — and will open for business in December.
Lucianno’s has moved across the street to 1739 S. Raccoon Road.
