Hubbard pool will offer free swimming day

HUBBARD — The Hubbard Community Pool, 250 Hall Ave., is having its fourth annual Summer Sizzler from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Free swimming for everyone is offered, and children can enjoy a make-it, take-it craft. A Chinese auction will include dinner tickets, golf, Pittsburgh Pirate tickets, an Avon basket, tanning/fitness certificate and beauty shop gifts. Food will be available for $1, including rigatoni and meatballs, nachos and cheese, hot dogs, pizza and ice cream.

The event is a way to give back to the community and surrounding areas, and the money raised helps to make improvements to the pool.
