Downsizing
The major Forum Health entities that remain include Northside Medical Center in Youngstown, Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, and Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital in Howland, which is on the market. Recent sales and closings of Forum Health entities:
September 2007: Beeghly Medical Park, Boardman, sold to Akron Children’s Hospital for $26 million.
September 2007: Beeghly Oaks, Boardman, a 140-bed long-term care facility, sold to Columbus-based Vrable Healthcare Companies.
June 30, 2007: Closed Tod Children’s Hospital, Youngstown.
July 1, 2008: Forum Health at Home, sold to Celtic Healthcare of Mars, Pa., for $4.2 million.
