First Book program plans inaugural golf outing

COITSVILLE — First Book-Mahoning Valley will host its first golf outing Aug. 16 to raise money for new books for children of low-income families.

The outing will be a scramble format at Bedford Trails Golf Course, 713 Bedford Road, and will begin with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. The cost is $220 per team and includes 18 holes, cart, food and drinks at the turn, and dinner with refreshments after golf.

Sponsorship opportunities include $100 per hole. Donations are being accepted for prizes and beverage cart sponsorships. All businesses and individuals will be acknowledged.
