Beatitude House gets $10K from Home Savings Charitable Foundations


WARREN — Home Savings Charitable Foundations has pledged $10,000 in addition to the $20,000 it already has donated to Beatitude House toward the construction of six new apartments in Warren.

Beatitude House is an organization the provides housing for homeless women while they further their education. In 2007, the agency had 224 applications but had only 20 vacant apartments.

“This donation from Home Savings Charitable Foundation is going to dramatically change the lives of homeless women and children in the Mahoning Valley,” said Michelle Rockwood, foundation development associate.
