Youngstown offers parents intra-district open enrollment

YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown city schools will have parent information nights on the intra-district open enrollment program under which parents can request that their child be allowed attend a city school other than the school that serves their home area of the city. Sessions are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at East High School auditorium, 2 p.m. Wednesday at Chaney High School auditorium and 10 a.m. Thursday at the central office dining room at 20 W. Wood St. Enrollment applications will be available at the meetings or may be picked up later at Room 110 at the central office building. Feb. 29 is the deadline to submit enrollment applications.
