Death of Columbiana County hunter investigated

ROGERS — The Columbiana County Coroner’s Office is investigating the death of a hunter who fell out of a tree stand while bow hunting on his own property.

The body was found about 9:23 p.m. Wednesday.

The property is about two miles west of Rogers on state Route 154.

Brian Fullum, the coroner’s investigator, said he could not identify the victim pending notification of relatives, and because the investigation is ongoing.

There was no one else in the vicinity at the time, Fullum added.
