volunteer orientation

ALLIANCE — Alliance Community Hospital’s monthly volunteer orientation program, called “Ventures into Volunteering,” will be held in Conference Room 1-A from 4 p.m. till about 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of volunteering in a hospital before they select a service area.

Honorees named

CAMPBELL — Mount Moriah Fire Baptized Holiness Church, 84 Bright Ave., will hold a senior citizen program at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mark Center, 3560 Logan Way, Youngstown. The speaker will be evangelist Anner Hardin.

The following have been named honorees: Mary Rivera, Lucille Winlock, Junita Rogers, Bernice Padgett, Shirley Parker, Leona Nize, Louella Harmon, Bessie Jackson, Abraham Jackson and Beatrice Winlock.

The donation is $12 for adults and $7 for children 5 and older.
