Sewing Guild plans Valentine’s Day event

WARREN — Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild will host a Valentine “sit-n-sew” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 14 at Central Christian Church, 2151 E. Market St., to work on axilla pillows for mastectomy patients.

Those attending should take their machine and basic sewing supplies, and should wear red or pink and take a covered dish to share. Those who don’t want to sew can cut and stuff. Nonmembers, regardless of skill level, are invited to participate and get acquainted with the group. For more information, call (330) 847-8757.
