CANFIELD
Jan. 23
Equipment, crack pipe: Police arrested a 39-year-old Canfield man for possession of a crack pipe filled with used crack residue and possession of drug paraphernalia at North Broad Street and Sawmill Run Drive.
Jan. 24
Receiving stolen property: Police arrested a 50-year-old Canfield man at East Main Street and Perkins Restaurant who had a current sticker on his license plates, which police determined were expired. The sticker was stolen by another party and placed on the vehicle.
Jan. 25
Identity theft: A Sandstone Lane man reported to police that $625 was taken out of his checking account by another party to make a purchase in Las Vegas, Nevada. The man’s bank has reimbursed him, but police took the report and gave the man a packet on identity theft and referred him to a Web site for the Ohio Attorney General’s Office for more information on identity fraud.

Jan. 21
Breaking and entering, business: Doors and frames were damaged at B&E Auto Specialists, 168 S. Meridian Road.
Theft: A Browning shotgun was taken from a home in the 200 block of Marcia Drive.
Theft: Prescription medication was taken from a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Lost or stolen purse: A purse was reported missing at an unknown location.
Jan. 22
Theft: A man in an older red Cavalier stole a purse at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Attempted theft from auto: An attempt to siphon gas from a vehicle was made in the driveway at a home in the 2000 block of Innwood Drive.
Breaking and entering: Copper pipe was stolen from a home in the 200 block of North Main Street.
Criminal damaging: Damage to the lawn and a tree were reported at a home in the 6000 block of Fairview Drive.
Theft: $308.88 in fuel was stolen at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Theft: Meat was stolen by a woman at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Fraud; $1,300 was taken in Mexico from an account at Home Savings and Loan, 4259 Kirk Road.
Fraud: $200 was taken from an account at a home in the 2000 block of Sprucewood Drive.
Vandalism: Restrooms were spray-painted at Township Park, 6000 Kirk Road.

Theft: A heater was rented and not returned to Rental Corral, 5020 Mahoning Ave.
Animal cruelty: Two dogs were abandoned in a residence in the 5000 block of Tulane Avenue.
Burglary: A laptop and a duffel bag were taken from a home in the 200 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.
Theft: Jewelry was taken at a home in the 6000 block of South Timberidge Avenue.
Burglary: A PlayStation 3, controls and a flat screen television were stolen from a home in the 400 block of South Turner Road.
Theft: A cell phone was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.

Theft from auto: 60 gallons of diesel fuel was stolen from an auto at Super 8 Motel, 5280 Seventy-SIx Drive.
Theft from auto: A sweat shirt was stolen from an auto in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft from auto: CD players were stolen from an auto in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: $500 in a bank envelope was stolen from the victim’s coat pocket at Cracker Barrel, 5600 Interstate Boulevard.
Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to a credit card at a home in the 3000 block of New Road.
Theft: A wallet and its contents were stolen at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Jan. 26
Theft: A woman stole more than $500 in merchandise at Wal-Mart, and was arrested and placed in county jail.
Criminal damaging: A neon sign was damaged inside Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.
Drug offense: Two Warren men were arrested on charges of possession of marijuana at Route 46 and Ashley Circle.
Theft: 75 to 80 painkiller capsules were stolen at a home in the 300 block of Idlewood Road.
Criminal damage: Four strips of vinyl siding were damaged with a BB gun at a home in the 100 block of North Main Street.
Theft: A woman was arrested for stealing craft items at Wal-Mart.

Drug offense: A Youngstown man was arrested for possession of cocaine and marijuana at Noday’s Lounge, 3713 Oakwood Ave.
Theft: $1,000 in U.S. currency was stolen from an apartment in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.
