Dr. Kozlow is named
dental society president

POLAND — Poland dentist Dr. James Kozlow has been named the president of the Corydon Palmer Dental Society. He succeeds Dr. Stephen Musick in the position. Dr. Kozlow is a graduate of the College of Wooster and Case Western Reserve University Dental School. He has practiced in Poland for 29 years.

Dr. Gregory Iaderosa, who practices in Boardman, is the society’s new president-elect. Other officers are Dr. Lee Snelson of Warren, vice-president; Dr. Mark Billy of Youngstown, secretary; and Dr. Thomas Gabriel, Austintown, re-elected treasurer.

Board members sworn into new terms include, from Mahoning County, Drs. Donald Brunetti, John Mayo and James Ramunno; from Trumbull County, Dr. Anthony Schiavone; and from Columbiana County, Dr. Marybeth Shaffer.

The Corydon Palmer Dental Society is the local component of the Ohio Dental Association and the American Dental Association.

Indalex schedules job fair
at its plant in Girard

GIRARD — Indalex will hold a job fair on from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at its aluminum extrusion plant here to help current and laid-off employees meet potential employers. Indalex announced earlier this month that the extrusion plant will close permanently no later than March 31.

Businesses and employment agencies in the Mahoning Valley are invited to attend the job fair to meet Indalex employees and offer applications for employment. Area employers interested in attending or submitting position vacancies should contact the plant at (330) 545-7460.

The plant has about 150 employees, including skilled tradespeople, machine operators, tow motor drivers, crane operators, packers, supervisors and managers with manufacturing and quality control expertise. The company will also encourage 150 laid-off employees to attend the job fair.
