Kaluza anniversary observed at center in Boardman park

X YOUNGSTOWN — The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. John Kaluza, 830 Cambridge Ave., was celebrated in the company of friends and relatives Jan. 26 at the community center in Boardman Township Park.

Invitations for the event were extended by their children and their spouses, Wanda and John Kaluza Jr. and Karen and Leo Cutlip, all of Youngstown. The couple have four grandchildren, Amanda and Keith Cutlip and Kaila and Jonathan Kaluza.

St. Stanislaus Church, where they are members, was the setting Jan. 25, 1958, as Mr. Kaluza and the former Donna Zetterquist were united in marriage.

Mrs. Kaluza is employed in the packaging department at Miller’s Import.

Mr. Kaluza served two years with the U.S. Army. He retired in 1992 from Youngstown Steel Door Co., where he was a coil-line operator.
