Car, tractor-trailer collide on Route 7

BROOKFIELD — Traffic was diverted away from state Route 7 in Brookfield Township on Saturday afternoon for at least four hours when a car and a tractor-trailer collided.

The Trumbull County 911 Center said the crash occurred about 4:25 p.m. between the Hubbard Township line and Cherry Street in Brookfield Township.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the accident apparently caused at least one injury, but information on those involved was not available Saturday night.
