Handgun stolen from West Side home

YOUNGSTOWN — Police said a .380 caliber handgun was stolen from a home in the 100 block of North Portland Avenue.

The resident told police he left home Monday and found that his home had been burglarized when he came back around 6:20 p.m. Thursday. Police said entry to the house was gained through a basement window.
