X STRUTHERS — The wedding of Amy Christine McAtee and Jeffrey Scott Masenheimer, both of Durham, N.C., took place at 2 p.m. Oct. 27 at St. Nicholas Church.

A reception was held later that day at The Georgetown in Boardman.

Jerry and Coleen McAtee, 6680 Applewood Blvd., Boardman, are parents of the bride, and the groom is a son of Barb and Mike Rykowski and Dale Masenheimer, all of Boardman.

The couple honeymooned at Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and live in Durham.

The bride’s strapless satin A-line gown featured a modified sweetheart neckline and was embellished with crystals and silver embroidery.

Teal gowns were worn by the bride’s sisters and honor attendants, Erin McAtee and Courtney McAtee, and the bridesmaids, Kristi Masenheimer and Lori Masenheimer, the groom’s sisters; Mary Smith; and Jackie Heydle.

Eric Pichiotino and Keith Welton shared the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Tom Thompson, the groom’s cousin; Yuri Kruty; Brad Smith; and Joe Santha.

The bride is a recreational therapist with the University of North Carolina Health Care in Chapel Hill, N.C. She holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in recreational therapy from the University of Toledo. The groom is a warehouse manager with Communication Supply Corp. in Raleigh, N.C.
