Youngstown woman charged with child endangering

YOUNGSTOWN — Police arrested a 21-year-old Cain Street mother on a charge of child endangering after witnesses told police she severely beat her 6-year-old son with a belt Wednesday evening.

One witness told police that Teondrea T. Waller beat her son because he used a cell phone camera to photograph his private part. Waller was expected to be arraigned today in municipal court.

Police took photos of the boy’s injuries that included large swollen welts on his thighs, arms and back and a welt on his forehead that was bleeding. The boy’s grandfather now has temporary custody, reports show.
