Hiram 84, Allegheny 79

HIRAM — Mike McDevitt (Lisbon) scored 17 points and had eight rebounds, both team-highs, to lead Hiram (8-8, 3-4) in a North Coast Athletic Conference game. Mike Staley added 15 points for the Terriers, while Glenn Campbell had 13 and Chuck Williams 11. For Allegheny (6-10, 3-4), George Raftis scored 22 points and had nine rebounds. Craig Devinney added 20 points and Bill Babe scored 12.

IUP 61, Slippery Rock 53

INDIANA, Pa. — Jamar Scales had 14 points for Slippery Rock, which gave away a three-point halftime lead. Ken Ottrix added 12 points for The Rock (3-14, 1-2 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West), which led 27-24 at the intermission. IUP (10-7, 2-0) was led by Sean Christiansen with 14 points and Adeniyi Amadou with 13.

Geneva 67, Westminster 62

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. — Greg McDivitt scored 20 points, making 9-of-13 shots, to lead Geneva (10-7). McDivitt also had a game-high nine rebounds, while Zac Northern added 10 points for the Golden Tornadoes. Ryne Murray led Westminster (3-14) with 21 points and four assists, while Craig Hannon (Union) added 19 points and six rebounds. The Titans shot 51 percent from the field (23-of-45) to Geneva’s 38 percent (21-of-56), but were outrebounded 35-26. The Golden Tornadoes had 18 offensive rebounds.

Bethany 86, Washington & Jefferson 83

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Brody Jackson and Marcus Adams combined for 50 points to lead Bethany (10-7, 5-1 PAC). Jackson had 27 points despite 8-for-26 shooting, and had a team-high 10 rebounds. Adams was 8-of-11 from the floor and had 23 points. Albert Varacallo scored 23 points to lead Washington & Jefferson (6-10, 3-3), while Wahab Owolabi added 22. Josip Lucic-Jozak scored 18 points and Matt Drakeley had 14.

WOMEN

Geneva 73, Westminster 46

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. — Renee Rawding scored 27 points and Allyson Clarke added 24, with nine rebounds, to lead Geneva. Michawn Rich added 10 points for the Golden Tornadoes. Westminster was led by Emilee Ackerman’s 16 points and 10 rebounds.

IUP 77, Slippery Rock 69

INDIANA, Pa. — Amanda Nero (Lowellville) poured in 30 points on 10-of-15 shooting in Slippery Rock’s loss. Nero made 6-of-11 on 3-pointers and also led The Rock (7-11, 1-2 PSAC West) with seven rebounds. Nijha McNeely added 17 points for Slippery Rock. Jahzinga Tracey scored 27 points to lead IUP (17-1, 2-0), while Staci Heberling added 17 and Eryn Withers 14.

Oberlin 63, Hiram 44

OBERLIN — Alyssa Clark scored 17 points and pulled down 12 rebounds in leading Oberlin (3-13, 2-5 NCAC) over Hiram. Oberllin built a 34-16 halftime advantage. Alex Dallas led Hiram (3-12, 1-6) with 12 points. The Terriers shot just 19 percent in the first half and 28.8 percent for the game.

Washington & Jefferson 71, Bethany 61

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Lisa Mitchell had 18 points to lead Bethany (9-7, 5-2 PAC), while Kelly Goode added 15 points and seven rebounds. Maggie Gibson led W&J (12-4, 5-2) with 26 points and nine rebounds, while Emily Hays added 19 points. Kennan Killeen finished with 12 points; she was 0-for-5 from the field and 12-of-12 at the line.
