Man arrested after leaving drug house
YOUNGSTOWN — A Mineral Ridge man spotted visiting a known drug house was arrested on a charge of possession of crack cocaine after he left the property.
Police on patrol said they spotted a man later identified as Nicholas Rohrbaugh, 27, of Cedarwood Drive, Mineral Ridge, get out of his pickup truck in the driveway of the drug house in the first block of North Hine Street around 6:50 p.m. Tuesday, walk up to the back door and then return to his truck about two minutes later.
Police followed him as he drove and said he tossed a white object from his truck as they attempted to stop him. An officer recovered the white object, which turned out to be a small plastic bag of suspected crack cocaine, and officers stopped Rohrbaugh a short distance away.
He was charged with drug possession and held in Mahoning County Jail pending arraignment today.
