Donations are sought for center’s fundraiser

YOUNGSTOWN — Rich Center for Autism is seeking donations of items to be placed in baskets that will be raffled during the organization’s annual variety show fundraiser, “Autistically Speaking,” on March 7 at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman.

Themes for the baskets will be based on such ideas as sports, ladies, family night, gardening, car care and home decor. Also appreciated will be gift certificates and larger stand-alone items such as framed art, sports equipment and upper-end clothing. Proceeds from the event will be applied to the educational programming at the center.

The center is also seeking sponsors for a summer fundraiser, “Give Autism the Boot,” to be held in July.
