Man killed when snowmobile hits plow

ERIE, Pa. (AP) — State police say an Erie County man died after his snowmobile ran into the back of a snowplow.

Police are still investigating the crash that claimed the life Sunday evening of 38-year-old Elmer Morrison, of Venango Township.

Police say Morrison’s snowmobile hit the snowplow at a high rate of speed.

Morrison was wearing a helmet, but police say he suffered fatal head and body injuries and died at the scene.
