Man arrested inside Cardinal Mooney High School Sunday

YOUNGSTOWN — Officers responding to an alarm at Cardinal Mooney High School, 2545 Erie St., at 1 p.m. Sunday arrested William Jones, 48, of East Princeton St., after finding him in a hallway. Jones told police he had chased a man, for an unknown reason, into the school through the main doors. Police searched the school and didn’t find anyone else. A police report noted that officers found a west office window broken. Jones, who was taken to Mahoning County Justice Center, was charged with breaking and entering.
