Martins celebrate 65th anniversary of their wedding

X COLUMBIANA — Ira and Martha Martin of Columbiana are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary.

The Martins were married Jan. 21, 1943, at the home of the bride in Columbiana.

Mr. Martin was a self-employed auto repairman for many years and is retired from General Motors. Mrs. Martin worked as a homemaker.

Their children are Lowell and Doris Martin, Naomi and John Hostetler, Lucille and John Clark, Ron and Patty Martin, Lawrence and Lucia Martin, Charlotte and Bill Beck, Kathy and Bill Schroedel and Carol Moser. They have 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
